Here are some suggestions.
1. See my MailCall USMC page.
2. If any of your Dad's friends are retired Marines, follow the above
instructions (MailCall) for contacting retired Marines.
3.Post/e-mail on all MessageBoards/Bulletin Boards you can find--numerous on
my MailCall--TheFew.Com is the largest...
4. On my MailCall USMC see the listings for Reunions, and for Associations,
find your Dad's previous outfits listed, if any, if so, write to them....
5.I will forward your e-mail on to those Marines I know--someone may know
your Dad--ask others to do the same.

Hello, My name is Ronda, My father Ronald Raymond Englehardt is a retired
Marine. He joined in 1956 and he
retired in 1975. He has recently been diagnosed with Mesothelioma , which
is
a Cancer caused by exposure to
Asbestos. He was exposed to the product on the USS Orisskany and the Uss
Independence, he also was
exposed when he was sent to Beaufort S.C. in 1956 or 1957 to start the
building of that base. I am hitting a
dead end and am grasping at straws but I was hoping to somehow get a list of
his buddies from Beaufort in
1956-58, He has only 20 months at the most and would surely love to find out
and possibly hear from his
former Marine Family.
Any information you can give would be a great help. Thank you for reading
