It is called "Salute to the Marines"

That pass and review scene at the end of the movies sure brought back
memories of my boot camp days. It was filmed in 1943 at MCRD San Diego.
The Men used for that pass and review, I wonder if they were real Marines or

if they were just extras. If they were real Marines it is sad to think that

a few months later many of them would be dead, wounded, or even in the
front lines on some island somewhere.


Anyone know of any other good WWII era Marine Movies?

To bad it was on so late. Even the wife was enjoying it. They had several Wallace Berry movies on that Late night. AH, the Old Corps, what a time to be in. To bad it ended when I joined. hehehe. SF Jose
