Semper Fi Gunny/got a problem finding ww2 marines that might
of served
during the occupation of japan in 1945,was stationed with 2nd
marine div.

I served with B Company, 28th MARINES in Japan from Sep 22, 1945 - December 1945 and Hq Co, 2nd Bn, 8th Marines (Dec 45 - Jun 46).
