I think you fell of the face of the earth. You are not listed in the SSDI. It can't be as bad as spending the past 10 years in a wheelchair without legs. So come on ( mike ) You are my buddy? aren't you? Arnold F Behrens EO7-2861 Marine From MCAGCC 29 Palms discharged in 1969? I need answers.

Dear Richard,

I have not visited Okinawa. I know of only two pictures of Sugar
Loaf
Hill - one taken in 1979, the other in 1983.

The first is in the book "Goodbye Darkness" by William Manchester,
re-
issued recently in paperback.

The second is in "After the Battle" magazine, Issue No.43. by
Charles
J. Leonard. Both of these gentlemen fought at Okinawa. I would
recommend the magazine, simply because half of the issue is
dedicated
to the Okinawa battle with many interesting pictures and maps.

RZM imports sells back-issues and are quick to mail them out.
