I have a friend who thinks that the Navy is better than the Marine Corps, so i was wondering if someone could help me and give me some links to some history of the USMC! I am enlisted into the Marines and ship out to Camp Pennelton July 9th! So the sooner you can get it to me the better!

As far as your friend goes, I reccomend looking up the Battle of Iwo Jima during WWII. A very inspirational moment in Marine Corps history if you ask me.
The Navy may very well be better for your friend. It all depends on his/her motivations and what they hope to get out of their military excperience.
