I'm trying to remember the words to a cadence our DIs called at Camp Matthews. It was to the tune of Ghost Riders in the Sky ... some words were
... when he gets to heaven to St. Peter he will tell another Marine reporting Sir, I've served my time in hell ... the Army has its kaki, the Navy has its blue, there is another uniform I'll introduce to you. This very special uniform the finest you have seen, the Germans called them Devil Dogs ... the name is just MARINE!
