Dear Gunny,
I am doing research for a friend whoes granduncle was shot and killed on Nov. 11, 1918 during the first World War. I know his unit and name he was Ernest C. CLARK 5TH Reg. Company 51 U. S. Marines. Do you or anyone else know in what battle that this may have taken place. It is bitter sweet to know that he died on the last day of this war. I would like to get as much information as possible on this event. Any help out there?
Aloha,
William Disbro
