A brief summary of the hypothesis is that NBE has greater chances of working in spring and summer months and less in autumn and winter months. This is because of our yearly cycle of hormones - in autumn our hormonal profile becomes adapted to gaining weight in other parts of the body, not breasts, to prepare for winter. This is an evolutionery adaptation seen in most mammals.
Many NBE cases agree with the hypothesis, but there have also been exceptions.
Considering this bit of info, my personal advice is to make a full use of spring and summer months and not to go on a brake then. A program starting in autumn may have less chances of working, however you don't have to totally give up during autumn and winter, but just take this hypothesis into consideration not to get discouraged if you don't have success in those months, and consider it as a potential explanation for lack of success.
