New (Amended) Treadmill guidelines

AMENDED TREADMILL SCORING AND RULE GUIDELINES

REGISTERED GROUP:

1st place is 10 points

2nd place is 7 points

3rd place is 3 points


Major Points:

Best of Classes 5 points

Champion win is 10 points.

Grand Champion win is 10 points

Best of Show win is 10 Points.



Any dog competing for a Champion title earns must earn a total of 150 points and 5 major wins to Champion title.



Any dog competing for a Grand Champion Title must earn an additional 10 Major wins (champion class wins or Best of show wins) to earn the Grand Champion title.



Major Points:

*To earn a Best of Classes, there must be at least 4 dogs in that class.

(Males and Females compete against each other) -


Example : 2 females in 1-2 yr class 2 males in the 1-2 yr class.

4 males in the 4 and over class.

3 males in the 1-2 year 1 female in 1-2 yr class



Not eligible: 1 dog in 2-3 yr ,1 dog in 4 and over and 1 dog in 6 to 1 yr. class.

3 dogs in 4 and over class

1 dog in group



*To earn a Best of Show win, there must be at least 4 competing dogs in a minimum of one or more classes.



Example. 2 dogs in 1-2 yr class 1 dog in 2-3 class and 1 dog in 3-4 class.

4 dogs in 4 and over class
2 dogs in 2-3 2 dogs in 4 and over.



No Best of Show Win:

1 dog in 2-3 yr class and one dog in 4 and over class and one dog in 6 to 1 year class.

3 dogs in 4 and over class

1 dog in group.

*In the event that there are less than 4 dogs in 1 show (registered) there will be no best of show or best of classes awarded. – Entry will be held till event time and any/all dog owners will be notified in the event there is a less than 4 dog show. – We will offer a full refund to those who do not wish to participate.

*Any dog that is competing in Treadmill during the treadmill event time may be allowed to wear a flat collar or harness for the duration of that (1) one specific event. Once the event is concluded, a choke chain will be required to be placed back on the dog.

*A separate kenneling area will be designated for the dogs that are competing in this event and will be separate from the other kenneling spaces for other dogs in other events.

*All current show rules will still apply with the exception of the choke chain requirement.

OPEN GROUP:
