*Club meeting minutes please read *

Hello all, I would first like to thank all of you who attended the meeting Saturday. It was good to see those of you who showed up. It always amazes me to see who the dedicated, driven members are in this club.

We have all discussed the topics and would like to start off by asking all of you, the members, the competitors and all of the people who support the WCBBC on so many different levels your opinions on each of these matters. I would appreciate a email or a phone call or a post with your feelings and choices for the questions asked.

Club officials

We would like to hear your thoughts on who the Club President, Club Vice President, Club Secretary, Club Treasurer, Club event Coordinator, Show Coordinator, Judges Chairman, and Fund raiser Chairman should be. We would like to here your input. Let us know who you feel would be a great fit for these positions. We will be coming 2 years in September so it is a good time to start thinking of who may be fit for these positions will be.

Promotion and Advertising. It has come to the point in which we need to start advertising and promoting not only the club but also the registry and all of the dog show events. We will have flyers available and codes available for print for all to copy. Just by sticking a flyer at your local pet good store or feed store is a huge when it comes to promotion and getting the word out. WCBBC has decided to start running monthly add's in various newspapers and internet sites to help spread the word.

New Show Location: Is in Washougal on 17th street just 2 blocks from WCBBC Home Location. I know alot of you have been to our home so you know how close it is. this building is heated, carpeted and has plenty of room for what we are looking for. All Show rules will stay the same as far as cleaning up after your dogs and making sure to be responsible for your dogs actions. Because we will be indoors it will be very important to respect space between dogs.

New Events To Start: We will be planning on starting Agility, Bully Conformation and Rally in April. So Please stay tuned for more information on those events. If you are fluent in those events please contact melissa at mstevens2479@hotmail.com.

New Point System for Open Division: No, We are not changing anything yet. We would like to know how you all feel about the current point system and how it works. What we would propose is that modifying the current system to allow all points to carry over year after year to a point in which after a dog has earned (5) achievement awards then they will earn a Triumph award. That would be rather than starting points over each year?

Food Handlers Cards: Our new location has a full working Kitchen, so we need to have at least 4 volunteers that are willing to take there food handlers card test. WCBBC will pay the fees, these people must be willing to be dedicated to the concessions at every show to help out in turn/shifts for the concessions.
