Oh--sorry, misread the name as "Michael", and since it was a musical I thought it was his. Still, Avenue Q is the least cinematic musical ever. Just my two cents...

i have to agree with Brian.
i am an avid fan of musicals, and their movie counterparts, but this is too much. you may be in for a critical massacre if you make this into a bait. it may be good, but the puppets will turn some people off i think.

I agree with Brian...not about Ave Q but ITS NO WHERE NEAR SEPTEMBER. No one starts talking about next years race in the middle of this years Oscar race. Why should we do it here?

Thanks everyone for your feedback! I do see where you are coming from that it isnt cinematic and the puppets might turn people off, but I thought I would give it a shot for my first bait. I hope I can pull it off!

Hey Mitchell, Zgamer and I thought of doing Avenue Q as a team bait a couple years ago. I did as much research as I could on it and it is simply not plausible or possible. I highly recommend you scrap it. All this naysaying may make you want to strive to achieve this feet even more, and in any other instance I'd say, hey give it a shot. I'd just advise against it. Really, there's something else out there. It's not just a few people here who've responded to this idea saying it's bad. It's been discussed in the chatroom as well by more people with much ridicule. It'll be laughed at and not in a good way. I'm sorry.

O.K guys. I am happy to let you know that I have scrapped Avenue Q. However, I am submitting a bait. I haven't decided on a title, but hopefully it will be good!

Hey, sorry I was busy moving all of this time! I am also starting school soon so I am not sure how much you will see of my on the boards just as an FYI.
Anyway, instead of HOW I COULD JUST KILL A MAN/CRY BABY CRY I am doing PRINCESSES.
Casting confirmed as of now is Liv Tyler, Seth Rogen, Roseanne Barr, Olivia Thirlby and Paul Rudd.
The story is about the costumed characters at Disneyland. Tyler plays a aging Snow White and Seth Rogen plays her ride operator boyfriend. Roseanne Barr is her evil supervisor while Thirlby plays her evil daughter. Paul Rudd plays Prince Charming who plays a good/evil character.
It is a Judd Apatow produced film which my be directed by Kevin Smith though probably not.
The plot kind of uses story-structure from Disney films like ENCHANTED but flips them upside down and much more raunchy.
Supporting cast right now is Britney Snow (Sleeping Beauty), Kristen Bell (Cinderella) and Emmy Rossum (Belle) with Bill Murray and Chelsea Handler in non-character roles.
TAGLINE: Disneyland, Where Dreams Come to Die.

I might do the second one just because it's a comedy and we could always use more comedies.
