Sorry, its not that right baord to place it, but this is the only lively one.

Just got to see an advanced screening in Philly for my paper and at the end they said there will be a Q&A. It was just announced so we thought it would just be a producer.

It was Michael Cera and Kat Dennings! I was upset how they now confiscate even critics cellphones, iPods and tape recorders so I missed out on such a great article (but they did autograph my poster). However, if any of you have ?s on the movie or anything I'll be glad to ask.

Oh, sorry, for some reason I thought this was on IMDB (I aam so delirious). I usually don't give muych away and won't spoil anything b/c I hate that but I thought it was cool how the stars of the film came (which never happens unless at a film festival to all 100 screenings I have been too) and how they mentioned they need help advertising it, because it is getitng a bit of the backburner.

My mind isn't 100% made up on it yet but it is a a **1/2 or *** out of **** movie (didn't quite decide).

To the first question, I went in this ready to tear it apart, but I lightened up to it a bit when my friend saw it in Toronto and said it was OK. Still not excited for it, it did surprise me how much I enjoyed it.

Cera and Dennings are fun together on screen, but lack the strong chemistry that Cera had with Page in JUNO. It wasn't bad for a teen film, but it was missing some of that element to really make it amazing.

This is not this years JUNO though. It was shot on a bigger budget, but for some reason it really does have that indie feel to it the whole way through which can be a bit off putting to some audiences that are looking for something broader.

Not as a negative, but I wouldn't really call this film a romantic comedy, more of just a romance. There are some funny moments in their late-night adventure, but it is more of a light-hearted drama. Nothing serious, but go in expecting a laugh a minute.

The direction was good, but some scenes seemed like they should have belonged in a Farley brothers movie such as the puke-in-toilet scene that had some people looking away from the screen and the orgasm-talk scenes (yes, plural), that seemed a little unneeded, espically not being very funny.

While the movie was overall good, towards the end (which was good for what it was) you really started to ask yourself if the movie was really 90 minutes?

I should have a review written up soon and I'll post that.

I am trying to work on a transcript to of the Q&A with Michael Cera and Kat Dennings.

you really don't need to write a review of the film, cuz im pretty sure no one here cares about this movie. Thats like posting a "Disaster Movie" review on here. Pointless, and a waste of your time.

Well, AJ I saw it and HAVE to review it for my job.

However, I was ready to hate it, but found it fairly good and worth-while to spread the word considering that it is getting the back-burner while films LIKE Disaster Movie are getting all of the advertising.

well feel free to write a review for whatever you have to do, but you dont have to post it here, cuz like i stated, no one is gonna give a shit.

and, no, nick and nora is not getting the "back burner" as you said. in fact, the studio is advertising all over myspace, the internet, MTV, anywhere they can get to teenage audiences looking for another Juno. But luckily for all us here, we are NOT looking for another Juno, because one is enough, and any film trying to be another Juno, is not gonna get my 8 bucks, or even my time looking at a review. Im sure many here will agree with me, even if you dont. So go ahead and write your review for your paper or whatever, but dont post it here.

also, the movie advertises a great playlist, but from what i have heard from trailers, it seems like a typical high school movie playlist. just an opinion. What did you think of the playlist?

Ummmm, do you control this message board?

Ah, no.

And actually where the hell is all of this JUNO stuff coming from? Just because it has the same guy in it is JUNO? This movie is nothing like JUNO at all and I'll post the review twice for your information, not to mention have it printed and published.

I am sure they will. It is the #1 paper in South Jersey and goes throughout Philly, North Jersey and parts of Delaware if you want to talk about prestigious.

Wow AJ, you're a real dick. Seriously though, no one is forcing you to see the movie, so you don't have to go on a tirade against Ryan. He was just posting a review, so you don't have to be a d-bag and throw a hissy fit about it.

I usually don't like to take part on this arguments but you're a bigger dick and a coward for throwing insults around without having the balls to say who you are.... At least AJ acts like he believes and doesn't has to go hiding.

Now let's forget about this thread please.
