This is just a funny little fact I just saw on imdb, but they finally have decided to make a biopic on Salvador Dali. Now, we would assume that this would have the quality as Daniel's classic bait "Dali" right? Well, let's look at the elements they've revealed:
1. Antonio Banderas To Play Dali
2. Con Air filmmaker Simon West to direct (his other credits include the awful remake of When A Stranger Calls..., The Man, and sigh Lara Croft Tomb Raider).
Hm...I'm a tiny bit skeptical. How about you guys?

From what I read, there are several versions of the story being made. This one was just announced on imdb news section, but they also mentioned a couple other projects about Dali including the one with Pacino. Personally, the Pacino one does sound better.
