I dont know that much about the coming oscar attractions in 09, but my top guesses, from what i know, are

Best Picture

Revolutionary Road
The Lovely Bones
Curious Case of Benjamin Button
Boy of Lies
Burn after Reading

Best actor

Leonardo Dicaprio - RevoRoad
Mark Whalberg - Lovely Bones

Best Actress

kate Winslet - RevoRoad
Rachel Wiesz(sp?) - Lovely Bones

Best Supporting Actor

Heath Ledger - The Dark Knight(the trailer's scenes are enough to get him nominated)

Best Supporting Actress -

Susan Surandon - Lovely bones
or
Saorsai Ronan - Lovely Bones

If I can even get 3 out of 5 in each category then I will be doing alright.

If Jack Nicholson didn't get nominated for his turn as the Joker, I doubt Ledger's version of Nicholson's rendition will get nominated.
