This is deffinantly one of the hardest years to predict in a long time!

Outstanding Drama Series
1) Brothers & Sisters
2) Damages
3) House
4) Boston Legal
5) The Closer
6th Nominee: Mad Men

Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series
1) Jon Hamm (Mad Men)
2) Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad)
3) Bill Paxton (Big Love)
4) James Spader (Boston Legal)
5) Hugh Laurie (House)
6th Nominee: Kiefer Sutherland (24)

Its tough for my to take Sutherland out of the predicted five but Bill Paxton's work in the second season of Big Love was fantastic and he should earn a nod!

Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series
1) Sally Field (Brothers & Sisters)
2) Kyra Sedgwick (The Closer)
3) Glenn Close Damages)
4) Minnie Driver (The Riches)
5) Mariska Hargitay (Law & Order SVU)
6th Nominee Holly Hunter (Saving Grace)

The last couple of years this has been a tough catagory to predict. Field, Sedgwick and Close all seem like locks. I picked Driver and Hargitay over Holly Hunter but she could come in above the other two or be a sixth nominee. I would love to see Jeanne Trippelhorn make the bunch someday!

Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series
1) Ted Danson (Damages)
2) Donald Sutherland (Dirty Sexy Money)
3) William Shatner (Boston Legal)
4) Christian Clemenson (Boston Legal)
5) John Slattery (Mad Men)
6th Nominee: Michael Emerson (Lost)

Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series
1) Rachel Griffeths (Brothers & Sisters)
2) Candace Bergen (Boston Legal)
3) Chandra Wilson (Greys Anatomy)
4) Rose Byrne (Damages)
5) Sandra Oh (Greys Anatomy)
6th Nominee: Amy Brenneman (Private Practice) or Jill Clayburgh (Dirty Sexy Money)

Another very tough catagory. With Katherine Heigl gone it deffinantly opens up the chances for one of the other GA girls. I would love to see Chandra Wilson finally win but her votes could split if Oh makes it in too. I want Clayburgh to make it in and she could but I am not counting on it.

Outstanding Comedy Series
1) 30 Rock
2) The Office
3) Curb Your Enthusiasm
4) Weeds
5) Entourage
6th Nominee (2 1/2 Men)

Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series
1) Lee Pace (Pushing Daisies)
2) Alec Baldswin (30 Rock)
3) Steve Carrell (The Office)
4) Larry David (Curb Your Enthusiasm)
5) Tony Shalhoub (Monk)
6th Nominee: David Duchovny (Californication)

Duchovny should be in over Shalhoub, but the Emmy's have always loved Shalhoub so I don't see him not making it in.

Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series
1) America Ferrera (Ugly Betty)
2) Tina Fey (30 Rock)
3) Mary Louise Parker (Weeds)
4) Christia Applegate (Samantha Who?)
5) Julia Louis Dreyfuss (New Adventures of Old Christine)
6th Nominee: Felicity Huffman (Desperate Housewives)

I am playing it safe by not putting any of the Desperate Housewives in the predicted five. If any of them get in it should be Marcia Cross. She was hilarious in the fake pregnancy storyline!

Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series
1) Jeremy Piven (Entourage)
2) Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother)
3) Rainn Wilson (The Office)
4) Jon Cryer (2 1/2 Men)
5) Jack McBrayer (30 Rock)
6th Nominee: John Krasinksi (The Office)

Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series
1) Dana Delaney (Desperate Housewives)
2) Jaime Pressly (My Name is Earl)
3) Jean Smart (Samantha Who?)
4) Vanessa Williams (Ugly Betty)
5) Elizabeth Perkins (Weeds)
6th Nominee: Judith Light (Ugly Bett) or Cheryl Hines (Curb Your Enthusiasm)

This was the toughest catagory for my to predict. Jean Smart is a Emmy Favorite. I left out both Conchata Ferrell and Holland Taylor because I don't think that 2 1/2 Men is going to be as big of a contender as last year. As much as I want Judith Light to make it in I don't think it is going to happen. Elizabeth Perkins not getting a globe nod last year could put her out of the race but she is the only reason I still watch Weeds.

Outstanding Miniseries
1) John Adams
2) The Company
3) Cranford

Outstanding Television Movie
1) Recount
2) A Raisin in the Sun
3) Bernard and Doris
4) Ruffian
5) As You Like It
6th Nominee: The Memory Keepers Daughter

Outstanding Lead Actor in a MS/TV Movie
1) Charles S Dutton (Racing for Time)
2) Paul Giamatti (John Adams)
3) Kevin Spacey (Recount)
4) Ralph Fiennes (Bernard & Doris)
5) Sam Shepherd (Ruffian)
6th Nominee: Michael Imperioli (For One More Day)

Outstanding Lead Actress in a MS/TV Movie
1) Phylicia Rashad (A Raisin in the Sun)
2) Laura Linney (John Adams)
3) Susan Sarandon (Bernard & Doris)
4) Vanessa Redgrave (The Fever)
5) Judi Dench (Cranford)
6th Nominee: Ellen Burstyn (For One More Day)

Outstanding Supporting Actor in a MS/TV Movie
1) Tom Wilkinson (John Adams)
2) Andre Braugher (Andromeda Strain)
3) Hugh Bonneville (Five Days)
4) Michael Keaton (The Company)
5) Kevin Kline (As You Like It)
6th Nominee: Eric McCormack (Adromeda Strain)

Outstanding Supporting Actress in a MS/TV Movie
1) Sarah Polley (John Adams)
2) Audra McDonald (A Raisin in the Sun)
3) Alfre Woodard (Pictures of Hollis Woods)
4) Emily Watson (The Memory Keepers Daughter)
5) Laura Dern (Recount)
6th Nominee: Eileen Atkins (Cranford)

Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series
1) Danny Glover (Brothers & Sisters)
2) Gregory Itzin (Medium)
3) Stanley Tucci (ER)
4) Peter O'Toole (The Tudors)
5) Robin Williams (Law & Order)

Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series
1) Angelica Huston (Medium)
2) Sharon Gless (Nip/Tuck)
3) Cynthia Nixon (Law & Order SVU)
4) Adrianna Barazza (ER)
5) Ellen Burstyn (Big Love)
6th Nominee: Frances Conroy (ER) or Bonnie Bedelia (Big Love)

If Ellen Burstyn does not get nominated and win I will have lost all faith. Her performance in Big Love was one of the most heartbreaking performances I have seen on TV and Burstyn was great!

Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series
1) Richard Chamberlain (Desperate Houswives)
2) Jerry Seinfeld (30 Rock)
3) Will Arnett (30 Rock)
4) Rip Torn (30 Rock)
5) Beau Bridges (My Name is Earl)
6th Nominee: Ted Danson (Curb Your Enthusiasm)

Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series
1) Shirley Knight (Desperate Housewives)
2) Elaine Stritch (30 Rock)
3) Betty White (Ugly Betty)
4) Jane Lynch (2 1/2 Men)
5) Carrie Fisher (30 Rock)
6th Nominee: Polly Bergen (Desperate Housewives)

Desperate Housewives had some great female guest performers this season. Shirley Knight is always a safe bet but Polly Bergen could get in. Kathryn Joosten could make it in too. I would love to see Celia Weston get a nomination, she was hilarious as Mike's mother.

Outstanding Reality Program
1) Kathy Griffen: My Life on the D List
2) Antiques Roadshow
3) The Dog Whisperer
4) Extreme Makeover Home Edition
5) Penn & Teller Bull S%*t

Outstanding Reality/Competition Program
1) The Amazing Race
2) American Idol
3) Dancing with the Stars
4) Project Runway
5) Oprah's Big Give

I hope she wins again this year! I wish she would release the second, third, and fourth season's of her show! I live in Oregon and for some reason Bravo is not on basic cable I love controversial comics, and now that George Carlin is gone Griffin is now my favorite living comedian! Plus its always fun to see who she offends in her speeches !
