What's everyone thinking for the tv side of tonights SAG honorees?
Im predicting Sally Field or Holly Hunter for drama actress. Both have a lot of industry respect. I think Sally has a slight edge as a veteran who has never been honored at the Sags.
Im really pulling for Michael C. Hall to win best actor in a drama series. Hes a very talented actor on a criminally unrewarded show. But John Hamm or possibly Hugh Laurie will end up with the Actor.
For best actress in a comedy Im hoping for Christina Applegate or Mary Louise Parker. I love both of them and their shows and while I also love Tina Fey her acting has been rewarded enough. Her real talent is in writing and running the show.
For best actor in a comedy I have a feeling theyll give it to David Duchovny hes been nominated 9 times without a win at the sags and his work on Californication is hilarious.
30 Rock will, of course, very deservedly take home comedy ensemble. But watch out for Desperate Housewives, who crawled out of a terrible slump to become good again, as a spoiler.
Just as 30 Rock is destined to win comedy Mad Men will win drama. I like the show but would love to see Dexter steal it.
