| Nine, in my opinion has already won, looks like a great follow-up to Marshall's "Chicago", the Acedemy loves musicals, so its a done deal.
It'll be nominated for the following:
Best Picture
Best Director - Rob Marshall
Best Adapted Screenplay
Best Actor - Daniel Day-Lewis
Best Actress - Marion Cotillard
Best Supporting Actress - Judi Dench
- Penelope Cruz
- Stacy Ferguson(altnernate for one of the other two; amazing in the trailer, doesn't deserve the flack she is getting)
(Maybe At Other Awards)
- Kate Hudson
- Nicole Kidman
- Sophia Loren

I agree--though we can't be completely sure until we've actually seen it and all the other contenders. I'd say it has a great shot at wins in: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Supporting Actress (my hunch is Judi Dench), Best Art Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Costume Desgin, and Best Makeup. | |
