We had such a great time and can't thank all of our volunteers; Cliff, Murlene, LeAnn, Jennifer, Jody, Rori, Kandi, Andrew, Alexis, Christina, Tahji, Warren, Mike, Randy, Laura, Chuck, Robert, Nathan and Maddy for all of their help. It is so nice to know that DogTown has such a great support system! We couldn't have asked for better weather and everybody was so much fun to be around.
We would especially like to thank Dr. Michael Andrew and Lynn from Town and Country Animal Hopital for taking their time to do the microchip clinic. We now have 18 dogs that have a microchip to help ensure their safe return if they were to become lost.
Thank you to Stephanie (Mixed Breed Club) and Anne-Marie (DogTown) for doing the Canine Good Citizen. We now have 7 out of 9 dogs passed their test.
Thank you to Kika's dad "Mack the DJ" for providing his time and doing such a great job announcing the contests, all the events and playing the music. We really hope you never give up being a DJ in your spare time!
Thank you to Pawsitively Pit Bull for providing some of your volunteers to help be a crowd for the CGC Test. We can't wait to see you at the Teddy Bear Parade!
And a huge thank you to all of our doggies from daycare and class that came and to support the festival. We know some of the dogs thought that we should just close the gates and have daycare in the field and that the leashes were a bit odd.
We wanted Debbie, Rebecca and Krystal to know that you were very much missed but we know that work comes first!
