We will be meeting at DogTown at 9am to get our team together to walk in the Teddy Bear Parade. Anyone who would like to join us is welcome to come! It's a .5 mile walk and great experience for the dogs to be around so much going on and all the other dogs. Every new thing you expose your dog to is a training opportunity, so this is a chance to get your dog use to the public with a support group all around.
Join us for our monthly Play Date from 6-8pm. With the weather getting cooler, we're starting up again every last Wednesday of the month. Just $5 per dog, per hour. Come anytime and stay as long as you like.
Hard to believe but as of today, the tiny 5 pound Berner puppy we brought home last October is now a year old and pushing 80 pounds. However, I suspect that her friends at Dogtown will continue to refer to her as "Baby Bella" even though she is now almost as tall as Tony and can no longer walk under Moose.
Thank you so much for making that birthday cake for her. She enjoyed is tremendously (as she does all the fabulous treats you make), and thanks to Stacy, Jody, Anne-Marie and the rest of the Dogtown crew for making Bella's birthday memorable.
Come to Main Street Park this Saturday (9/13) and do a fun walk with your dogs beginning at 9am. All walkers get a goodie bag with fun stuff and useful information. Then from 10-3pm, you can run through an Agility course, practice in the Rally ring, get your dog certified as a Canine Good Citizen, visit dog related booths and play games and win prizes. Dr. Andrew from Town and Country will be doing microchipping from 12-2pm.
Chipper, Michael and I had a great time!! Chip really liked the dog food relay and all the food he got to eat (ha-ha that he wasen't supposed to)!! It was nice to see and visit the other booths too. Yumm we love getting yummy treats from Michelle, Joan and Tony's booth too! Even though Solo didn't go, he always gets good treats that we bring home for him :)
THANK YOU for such a FUN time!!! We are looking forward to next year!!
Tony and I wanted to thank Anne Marie, Andrew, Debbie, Stacy & Maddy for hanging out for several hours this past Saturday at the Longview/Kelso Dog Show to watch us in Rally. We appreciate all of the support and our thrilled that Tony got his Novice Rally title, plus 3rd place! Tony says "we are definetly going to enter more Novice Rally events so my mom can get as good as I am."
3 is a lucky number for Michelle and Tony! 3 legs in 3 days and Tony is a Rally Novice dog! He also got 3rd place with a score of 88, great job Michelle-we are very proud of you:)
River sure is a cutie! Andrew is getting him started right in Puppy class and hopefully, we will see him do well in the Conformation and Rally rings next year!
I am so excited for you Andrew!!! A dog of YOUR VERY OWN...there is nothing in the world like it. You'll share a great bond togetherand it will be fun watching him grow up...pups grow so fast...he'll be in the show ring in no time. :0)
Congratulations Andrew!! River is a cutie-pa-tootie :) You both will make a terrific team. I'm sure you will do good in Conformation, Rally, etc. You've got some GREAT teachers to help you along the way :) Congrats again!!
