I'm currently seeking the parents of Thomas Bancroft, b. abt. 1811, possibly in Halifax. He married Pricilla Sutcliffe in 1833, the daughter of Jane Townsend in Heptonstall. They were the parents of Thomas(abt. 1837), Elizabeth (abt. 1840), Ebenezer(abt. 1842), Hannah (1847), and Marcus (abt. 1850). Hannah married Jonas Shackleton, and it is from this line that I am descended. I'm really stuck, so any information would help, and I'd love to share what I have in return.
