It's A Boy

Little Kyler Douglas Messner was born at 3:17 am on Sunday ...he weighed in at 7 lbs 7 oz..20 inches ...with a full head dark brown hair...his eyes are dark blue right now but they will most likely become brown in a week..he is such a cutie ... she had 29 hours of hard labour but has forgotten all that now her and Rocky are in love with their son... the poor wee baby was in disstress as the cord was wrapped around his neck twice... so it was a bit touch and go for a bit...but I know all the prayers helped...he looked just like his mommy when she was born... and she looked just like Douglas...but baby's change so fast in the first 24 hours... but it was sooo wonderful to take my first look at him when he was only 30 mins old and see both Christine and Douglas in that sweet little face...well off to the hospital I go...love and hugs Joann~

I am so happy for you and your family. It gave me chills when you mentioned that he looks like his Mom and Grandpa did at birth. Plus...getting his Grandpa's name!

Thank God Kyler Doulglas is here and healthy! Love that name!
My prayer is for his blessings to continue; he's already been blessed with parents who love him, a grandma to love and spoil him and a guardian angel in his grandpapa...

Hi Ladies... my daughter is going into the hospital tomorrow ( friday) to be induced... and will have her baby sometime tomorrow or if it runs into midnight ... she will have it saturday ...please say a prayer for a easy and safe delivery of a healthy baby... I am so excited... finally I will know if my first grandbaby is a girl or a boy...hugs Joann~

All of you will be in my prayers over the weekend. Hopefully, by the time you read this you will have already held that beautiful bundle in your arms.
I will be a grandma for the first time in April (my son and daughter-in-law). The only problem with that is that I can't tell the daughter-in-law what to do like I'm sure I would (and will when it happens) my daughter. LOL! Like I understand they don't use baby lotion like we did back in the day on our babies. I can't imagine.....there's nothing like the smell of a clean baby slathered with Johnson's baby lotion and powder.
Please let us know what you get as soon as you can.

Happy Birthday Robin ...I wish you a wonderful day and an amazing ADC from Bryan. Christine is having contractions but pretty far apart.. so hopeful it is not a false alarm and she has the baby before midnight today ...now I have to call my daughter to wish her a Happy Birthday and see how things are coming along. I keep talking to Douglas... and telling him to be holding her hand somehow as he did for me when I gave birth to her...love Joann K~

I will keep you updated about the baby...my daughter is overdue now... but she told me yesterday when I was with her for the day that she feels it will be tuesday the 28 th. We don't know if the baby is a boy or girl ... so this extra wait is hard...lol love and Joann~

Tonite's ADC is my new favorite... because of the way it feels: calmly and sanely happy. I am planning a visit to see Helen in VT with Bev the and of Oct. so, as I was sitting on my bed, stoned with energy and clarity and peace, sweetness, feeling my invisible friend; I knew it was him when I jumped up from the bed and started dancing, doing squats, arm lifts, more squats, stretches in the energy of both of us, the two sides of the same coin; it was such a healthy rush of clear energy and perception.
Was thinking about VT, the place where Bryan is buried, then I got what I call a thought-form, (a telepathically received thought received as a concept, vague), reminded me that I am going to his heaven… he hangs out where the house he once showed me in a dream that he is building for me is in the woods that are the backyard to our ocean front locale.
The images of Vermont woods as they bare for winter and walking through crunchy darkened leaves accompanied those thoughts as I was clearing the stuff of the day from my bed and picked up two pennies. The first was a 2006. “Oh, great, the time is now”, I silently responded. The other is 1972. That was the year I knew Bryan, loved Bryan, thrilled to be in his presence. Once again I am bolstered with confidence that I am not alone, the big B’s got my back. I love him. What if it really is all about him?
Grey's Anatomy is on, season premiere, gotta go.
It seems true what my sister once, commented, that I straddle two worlds... it is weird.
