We have been asked by several Weight Pullers if we would consider hosting a Fundraising Weight Pull for Money Prize - well Ladies and Gents here it is!
This 1st Annual Weight Pull Lottery Event is being held indoors on Feb. 17, 2007. at the AAPBA HQ at 2001 Delameter Rd. Castle Rock, WA 98611. Ph. 360-274-4209.
All Weight Pullers and All Breeds are welcomed! Dogs do not have to be registry affiliated to compete.
Event Rules are as Follows:
Weigh-in day of event 8am.
Event start time after all dogs are weighed in.
Entry Price: $20 per entry.
AAPBA Weight Pull rules apply.
Each dog that enters will be given three raffle tickets – the raffle tickets will be placed in an enclosed box. I.e.: a competitor enters (3) dogs they receive 9 tickets total.
Most Weight Pulled, Pound for Pound and Puppy Pound for Pound Winners: will each receive FIVE EXTRA TICKETS.
**ANYONE CAN WIN! If you do not have a Dog, but would like to contribute to this Fundraising Event and increase your odds of WINNING the Lottery, which "many" have already expressed – here is your Chance! Fill out an application the day of event or have one mailed to you - once the application and entry fee is submitted you will receive your tickets via mail or day of event.
One Ticket $20
Two Tickets $35
Each additional ticket will be sold for $10 each. Increase your odds – like the Weight Pullers.
All Money will be added up, half of the proceeds will go towards the Registry for upgrades – the other half will be split (3) ways. Ie: If $3,000 is raised half goes towards the upgrades and the other $1,500 is split three ways – so everyone keep in mind the more entries we have and the more tickets that are sold – THE BIGGER THE POT!
Concessions:
Will be available – so bring your appetite.
The Drawing:
Will be held after the event and you must be present to win. Three numbers will be drawn from the box and CASH Lottery prizes will be distributed.
Raffle:
Raffle tickets will be sold the day of event and will be held immediately following the Lottery Drawing.
