ok I'll brag a litte bit here about my dad...today he won his division of the Queen's Cup for the 3rd time in 4 years...its a prestigous sailing trophy on Lake Michigan from Milwaukee to Muskegon, MI...they leave at 5pm & race all night...this year he finished 20th overall out of 185 entries...all the boats ahead of his are strictly stripped down racing boats...my dad's boat is a crusing boat...more like a condo on water than a racer...and dig this...his crew of 7 are all over 70 years old! I'm sure they're well into the victory martini's at the club

I'm clueless when it comes to boating or sailing, but this is awesome.

Does he do the Mackinac(sp) race?

he does...in the cruising division for this race.....last year the boat was hit by lightning about 12 hours out....had to pull out & limp back to his base.....hoping for better luck this year
