Can NY handle 2 Mannings?

With Peyton Manning being released today, he will be an unrestricted free agent immediately...here's the first contest of the 2012 - 2013 NFL season (unless Goodell figures out a way to shut this season down or ship it to London or Mexico).

I'll place a $100 wager for the winner.

Name the team that will sign Peyton Manning first after he is released. No changes after posting.

For all that are correct...the tiebreaker...

Who will WIN the 2012-13 Super Bowl?

Tiebreaker if we're still tied after the tiebreaker....lol...total points scored in the 2012-13 Super Bowl.

and I WILL be writing these down as a backup in case the hamster dies and my computer goes on the blink again and my archives fly into cyberspace.

Not sure if NY can handle two Mannings but New Jersey, where the two teams play, sure can happy.gif

Rex Ryan lives down the street and around the corner from me. I'll set up the spycam to see if he gets any visits from Peyton!

Just don't let Ryan see your Ladies feet. So I needed a typo on the J instead of the Y? I can't even get my typos right anymore.

Lets not forget that Buckethead SAT last year and made 26 MILLION USD. I'm all for a guy getting what he can (fingers crossed) but now to hear the owner and the soon to be ex QB say that the split isn't about the money? Hahahahahahahaha...in the NFL, it's ALWAYS about the money. Colts never should have left Baltimore.

It's OK. We let New Yorkers root for our football teams as long as they let us root for their baseball teams. It's hard to believe that the Giants moved to NJ 35 years ago and the Jets almost 30, yet hardly anyone outside of my state connects them to NJ. All of the Giants - every single one of them - live in NJ during the season and so do almost all of the Jets.

And not to derail the where will Peyton go thread anymore, but here's a bit of horse-racing/Jets trivia for you. Did you know the Jets colors are green and white because those are Monmouth Park's colors? Phil Iselin was in the ownership groups of both and copied MP's colors for the Jets.

Gotta hand it to ya Chazz...a Tebow/Manning combo in the Bronco backfield is gutsy...as likely as OJ gettin' outta the slammer and going back to play for Buffalo! Then again, NOTHING would surprise me in the NFL.

Deadskins... Think Snyder won't try to trump Jerry Jones? Frankenforehead will bring Reggie Wayne along with him. The Badactor can pull that Redskin tee shirt outta the closet when Mr. Manning Heads to Washington.

Dallas Cowboys win 6th Lombardi trophy!

Looks like down to San Fran,Tenn and Denver.

With the San Fran defense, special teams and coaching staff it should be a no brainer if he's interested in winning a Superbowl next season.

If it's about the money or his family he might choose Tenn or Denver but neither of those two is just a great QB away from winning a championship IMO.

Chaz is in a one way playoff with....himself. Nobody picked Tennessee or the 40 whiners! Gooch? Looks like Chaz will collect a C note if Brady and Co. win it all! Snyder must have decided RG3 is gonna be the man in DC.

Chaz the only one live for the c-note.

Sounds like Manning to the Broncos once they get the contract hammered out.

Bronco spreads are gonna be jacked up all year long.

Can't see Tebowmania dying down...or him carrying a clipboard. H-Back? Trade to his home team, the Fish? Feels like the 2011 Eagles to me...

I stumbled onto this as well Chazz...now I just have to figure out how to bet against the Patriots (who I think will win it all now). In the meanwhile, figure a way to explain to Spider how I plan to "middle" this one out...lol...You're wearin' me out dude...lol... happy.gif
