Me thinks Arnie's BP was elevated because he had a sex addict on his course!
ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Arnold Palmer is being hospitalized overnight after doctors noticed a rise in his blood pressure.
Palmer wasn't on the 18th green at Bay Hill on Sunday when Tiger Woods won the Arnold Palmer Invitational for the seventh time, ending a 30-month victory drought on the PGA Tour.
Alaistair Johnston, vice chairman of IMG and Palmer's longtime business manager, says the 82-year-old is on new medication and was checking his blood pressure throughout the final round. About 15 minutes before the tournament ended, doctors noticed enough of an increase to take him to the hospital for closer evaluation.
Johnston says Palmer was to be hospitalized overnight as a precaution. He says no one is overly concerned.

Hello to all...this is Spanky's son. What better time to join up in class than now? I love the golf tourney format. To ease your worries, I'm a lot easier to deal with than my dad. I imagine he'll get his tournament picks in after Round 1 of the Masters and then claim he "forgot, but swears it's a coincidence that his A player is leading." Anyways, I would be more than happy to pitch in a prize for the winner, maybe a game-used Henry Hawk football helmet, or a gently-worn track sweatsuit (matching tops and bottoms). As you can tell, I'm a football coach and live in the Austin area. As long as you don't mind wearing black and yellow, then I don't mind sneaking some merchandise out for a good cause. Best of luck to all. -Blake

Under two and a half hours until the deadline passes. I nervously review my Major Challenge team looking for any errors. I will check it every half hour until the deadline expires.
12:00 Midnite CST
Scanning the World Wide Web for any late breaking news or injuries, like ruptured Achilles heels (ya never know with Tiger).
I'll put a pot of coffee on to combat the nicotine fits even though I quit smoking 4 years ago. Sent text to Ryan Palmer with a last minute word of encouragement and advised him we're all pulling (and betting) on him back here in Amarillo. No pressure Ryan but you're the lead dog on the Spanky Express for the UIC Majors Challenge!
1:00 AM CST
Jacked on caffeine, I'll spend the next 2 hours doing the Jimenez exorcise warm up program (less the cigar..see above).
3:00 AM CST
I'll unwind by watching Mr. Haucks performance I recorded recently. 'Cause nothing gets my competitive juices flowing like the Hallmark Channel!
Good morning Dell & Thanks for the greeting....Although we've never met, I feel as if I know you ( thru Spanky & the endless amount of times we've watched "Phone Booth" over the years ). That and watching you & the Spank Man battle it out on a chess board... both very entertaining. Yeah man, I've gotta get a life! Good luck with the golf thing & Thanks again for welcoming me into the group....
Did anyone ( everyone )catch Mr Woods reaction to his tee shot on #16 yesterday? Hit it left, drop club over shoulder, turn around & kick club towards gallery....kind of gives a new meaning to the term "foot wedge", doesn't it? Can anyone out there imagine that sort of reaction from Mr Palmer, Mr Nicklaus, Mr Player, Mr Hogan, Mr Snead, Mr Jones, etc.? These are the fellows that made the game what it is. How can we teach our sons / grandsons to respect the game when they are exposed to such behavior over & over every time Mr Woods gets pissed?
I'm not trying to banter Tiger, as one of my relatives has been accused of doing, I'm just saying as a true fan of the game, "We're tired of watching this icon disrespecting the game". Class act....I think not.
I was a bit skeptical about posting my opinion concerning the immature antics of one Tiger Woods, so I appreciate your response. When you consider the on going work Arnold Palmer, along with many others, do concerning the First Tee program, I can't help but think that what Mr Woods shows on camera has to be detrimental to that process. These gentlemen, and ladies, spend countless hours teaching these youngsters things like honor, sportsmanship, and having pride in what they do. It's not just about hitting a golf ball..
I'm sure Tiger has done wonderful things with his charities, but I also believe someone should remind him that the kids who dig him will also try to copy what he does on the golf course. Probably enough said on that...
So, did anyone have Freddy in their line up? I'm sure that I, along with countless other "over the hill" fans will be glued to the Masters coverage today. In all fairness, I hope they don't mic him...Freddy has been known to let a few "F" bombs fly during the competition....
By the way Mr Hauck, I misspelled my A players name...I meant to type in Freddy Couples, but hit the B i l l H a a s keys by mistake. Can you please fix that for me?
CONGRATS to BUBBA WATSON for winning his first Masters. His shot on the 10th in the playoff was UNBELIEVABLE!! TRULY historic. And CONGRATS to SMALL MAC for having BUBBA in the A hole (Boy did THAT come out wrong!). Seriously, SMac had Bubba and Phil to start our competition with a nifty score of 1725. Good pickin', pal. He has the lead as we move on to The Olympic Club (a course that I have played many times, believe it or not).
SHOES and HOOPER both had Tough Luck Louie O - The Albatross Man, in their stables (along with that other Lefty). Louie hit absolutely perfect putts on both playoff holes, but it wasn't meant to be (hard to believe after a double eagle - but he played GREAT). DE NIRO also has Oosthuizen and is in with a very solid G note.
CSCOT, JOHNH, and GGRIFF also get off and running to a solid start.
On a sour note, BILL W is an unfortunate DQ as he posted one golfer over the limit in his stable.
All in all, a STRONG start to our competition and a SUPER Masters. We'll see you in San Francisco in June for the US OPEN!!! Good luck!!
