So the Phillies will have an impact on the playoffs after all, sending Victorino and Pence to the Dodgers and Giants respectively. Both players will make you tear your hear out at times but both can help their new teams. Giants will owe Pence about $15 million next year-not worth it.
Don't disagree, gbob, but Charles Johnson--the Giants principal owner--is the 7th richest man in the world (I forget how many billions) according to Forbes. Who cares what it cost him? I'm the one paying $9 a beer!
Meanwhile, I expect Shierholtz to do well in Philly. he has the athletic ability, but was never able to put it all together here. Great D, needs to hit.
