A very fine actor from Snyder, TX.

I remember him as Cy Tolliver, owner of the Bella Union in the HBO series Deadwood.

PLayed Lt. Col. Andy Tanner in Red Dawn.

Other notable works in 24, Nashville, and most recently Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Very sad. He was excellent in Tombstone. Been through Snyder many times but had no idea he was a Texan. RIP indeed. sad.gif

Excellent actor, especially creepy as Jim Jones (the cult villain, not the Cowboy owner). oops, I guess that's jerry. Soprry, I was focused on the creepy part, which applies in both cases.

I recall that the first movie I saw him in was the excellent Southern Comfort which came out in 1981. Always had great screen presence .

Southern Comfort was excellent. It's been a long time ago but it was one of those that was better than expected back in the day when I used to go to see almost everything at the movies.

A great scene Daddio...I like when Kurt Russell pulls up the wagon he's in...looks at Curly Bill and says "I just want ya to know, it's over" and Curly Bill looks up says..."well...bye".
