If you're starting out, any of the pistols you mention are fine.

But I prefer Ruger because

1. It has tons of aftermarket accessories so you can customize the pistol. Most can be user installed.

2. It is accurate enough for the purpose you describe

3. It has proven itself as durable. Mine is counting 70,000 rounds and still as accurate as when I first got it.

Suggest you the get the stainless 5-1/2" barrel version KP-512 ,add an MGW scope mount and a 30mm red dot...enjoy!
