Looks like you and me are not reading off the same page so to speak.
I am thinking about buying a Ruger 22/45.
I was looking for information on a Ruger 22/45 when I came across this forum.
I was not looking for a Mark 1 forum. I know all I need to know about the Mark 1.
You should not hold it any ill will toward me. (If you do) Just because I have the viewpoint of someone on the outside looking in on this forum and coming to the conclusion by reading many of the posts that the Mark 2 and 22/45 have some problems.
Even if the problems are easily fixed.
By me saying my Mark 1 is a good pistol does not put down or say the Mark 2 or 22/45 pistols are bad pistols.
If it were my point to put down the Mark 2 of the 22/45 pistols be assured you would not have to read between the lines.
By me being new to this forum my viewpoint maybe fresher than yours.
The owners of the Mark 2 and 22/45 have spoken for themselves in their posts.
Don’t hold it against me if the owners of said pistols have not painted a more comely picture of their pistols.
The posts in this forum are by and large the experiences of only a small percentage of Ruger pistol owners.
So, if all posts on this forum said that Mark 2 and 22/45 was perfect right out of the box this is only a small cross section of all Ruger Pistol owners.
If all the owners on this forum had said, except you, their pistols sucked.
It does not mean you have a bad pistol.
Would you not agree?
I am a Ruger Fan.
I own two Ruger rifles and three Ruger pistols.
I am proud of all of them.
However each weapon has it’s strong and weak points.
Does this mean my guns are crap? I don’t think so.
And I never said anyone’s gun on this forum was crap either.
