This is real basic question since, I've only owned my 22/45 for about 3 weeks and reading on the net for 4 or 5 weeks, so bare with me.
I have not yet seen a red dot sight but I'm interested in them and will be looking into getting one. It sounds like it may help me with my shooting at 25 yards.
Is the 'Red Dot' projected within the optics of the sight only (this is the impression that I get), or is it like a laser pointer actually projecting on the target.
Do people ever mount laser pointers for targeting? I don't think I have seen any websites for these.
I'll be going to a large gun show in Houston this weekend so I guess I'll get a chance to look at a variety of products. Is the 30mm sight the standard for a target pistol?
