These ol’ eyes are just having too much trouble with seeing black on black on black (tri-focals). Many of the threads in this forum have been about the joy of red-dot sighting. While I agree that they "are" magic (or at least seem to be) I want to try some alternatives so that I don't have to hang extra equipment on my pistol.
One of the new Browning models (?) has a HiVis sight on it as standard. I sure did like the way the sights looked but I was in the store not on the range. Has anyone tried these sights? If you're not familiar with them you can find them at: http://www.hivizsights.com/ruger.htm
