Thanks a bunch for y'all's input. Picked up a KMK678GC this afternoon at a traveling gun show. Saved $50 from the best price I could find in town.
Had to go out to the range and test it out - unfortunately it was 14 degrees and windy today. Only managed to get off 50 rounds before my fingers couldn't hold (load?) the clip any more.
Wow .. great gun. Had some nice groupings - again unfortunately, the groups weren't anywhere near the larger numbers - but they WERE groups at least. I guess I'll just have to suffer through a few bricks to get used to it. No stove pipes, no problems - I love it - I wish all of my machinery would work like this.
