I know what you mean, I had the same thoughts about the hammer & sear at first, but then I decided I could always stone the hammer if creep was a problem. I carefully inspected the parts and after installation I found the stock hammer was fine for me, "as is." Since every part is a little different, I can see where someone else may not get the same match-up results as I did.
Triggers are all a matter of personal preference. I'm happy with the VQ Target version but I had to get the pre-travel out of the pull. That's why I decided to add an adjustable screw to take up the slack. Now it's a real good shooter.
