Yes, I sure would appreciate it myself if gun ownership and use here in Canada were a little easier. We are now in the process of registering every gun in the country (yes, rifles and shotguns too) All handguns have been registered for as long as I can remember, but I know it always hasn't been this way. However, and not to knock the U.S. system, gun owners in Canada, especially handgunners, tend to take our sport very seriously. There just simply aren't any casual handgun owners. There's too much crap involved for casual wannabees to get involved with handgunning. Now, I'm not accusing anyone on this forum of being a casual handgunner, cuz if your here, you are automatically a genuine enthusiast. There aren't many cheap revolvers tucked away in a nightstand here, owned by someone who once fired a cylinder full at a bucket 6 feet away, that's all. In the U.S., you have your second ammendment, which makes gun ownership a RIGHT, and that's great, I wish I had the same rights. Here in Canada, we have no such right, only a PRIVELEGE.

P.S. (hope I didn't P!$$ anyone off, it's definitly not my intention.)
