spotting scopes

I was going to take my Mark IIs to the range this year to try my hand at a little bit of competition shooting. I was wondering if anybody out there could give me some advise on which spotting scopes will serve my purposes. I've been leaning toward a Swift Panther or A Swift Searcher. I like the 45 angle on the Swift Lynx, but as you can tell, I don't have a clue. Help!!
