Stovepipe jam

by Bullseye

A stovepipe is a commonly used term for a empty brass case that has failed to eject completely from a semiautomatic handgun. The case is caught in the bolt and is sticking out of the ejection port, like an old cast iron stove exhaust pipe jutting through the roof of an old house.
