I've got a question for you guys. The barrels on the MKII's and the 22/45's appear to be the same. I've never owned a 22/45 but I have a couple MKII's and I wondered if I could change the frame on one of them to convert it to a 22/45. I know it might sound crazy but I have a legitamite reason. I'm wanting the 22/45 grip angle and I thought that I might be able to save some money by buying only the frame. And if it can be done, where can I find a frame, anywhere on the net that sales them? Do you need an FFL to buy only the frame?
