I meant to ask this question when I was here earlier whether anyone here has tired the new release of Brownell's Action Magic II Dry Lub? It's a dry formula which takes some serious time to prep. Everything has to be degreased after cleaning and after the first part is applied it must cure for two hours unless you use a hair dryer or pen torch and heat the metal a bit. Then the graphite like powder is rubbed into the areas which were previously treated. I have used it now for a month
and prior to the extractor breaking (see previous post from today by same author) I shot nearly 2,500 rounds without seriously cleaning or any other form of lubrication. My conclusion is that the stuff is great other than the time consumption with preperation.
Any thoughts? As always, thanks guys/gals for such a fine place to share ideas about these fine handguns!
Have fun!
