Aluminum cannot be "blued" as non stainless steel can,however, it can be anodized in various colors, including blue. There is a touch up chemical, the name of which I cannot remember, to hide nicks and scratched in aluminum, believe it or not I think the stuff is call aluma blue. It is commonaly available at gun stores and hardware stores. Hope this helps, Brad
