Heya Radar...I should probably mention that when I assembled the rings and Millett Red Dot to the Ruger mount..I did lay a thin bead of Flash Cyanoacrylate
(model super glue) to all 4 inside curves of the scope rings and evenly but quickly tightened all together while the glue was wet. I suppose one could use epoxy also...as you can imagine I do not intend to use this red dot for any other applications and I do not know if one could achieve the same without adhesive?? I have never liked tightening too much on a scope body...and with just metal to metal ..no glue one may get some twisting
