Ruger frames are not stamped. They are investment cast.
I have seen every model of firearm malfunction especially rimfire. It's not if they malfunction but how often they malfunction.
Personally if I can't have a firearm go over 500 rounds without a malfuction then it is no good. In the process of selling a S&W 41 because it is not reliable enough.
