Thanks for the great advice; I think I'll shoot down the middle with the Nylon patch.

Anyway I already have the Hoppes #9, but am wondering what oil / lubricant that you would recommend; I currently use Rem Oil with Teflon and have heard that its not a good idea, what do you think?
