My procedure for my guns are:
breakdown and spray outers gun scrubber to get loose all large pieces of residue, etc.
i then use a few patches with hoppes #9 down the barrl
until clean,
i use appx. 20lps of compressed air carfully to get it spotless around the lower assembly.
barrel and internally i use bostik "topcoat" its an friction reducer, which also repels rust,dust,dirt and it dries in seconds,run another clean patch through and reassemble. On the exterior finish i use "dricoat" it stops and prevents rust,and puts a non-slippery protective coating.
ok i'm a clean freak, but as hard as i work to acquire the things i love, i figure i owe that respect to my hobbies and myself. (nothing like preventive maintenance in my book)!
