I finally got to do the minor over haul to one of my Mark II's this week-end....I installed the pre-travel set screw as you discribed with the exception, had to go with a 6/32 as the local hardware/farm supply store didn't carry anything smaller. installed the trigger, new VQ Seer, and the VQ extractor, and as per your prescription for polishing the bolt I did that while I had every thing dis-assembled. every thing seems to work great with the acception of the stope pipes, I'l go couple hundered rounds, then I'l go into a spell where I have several (5,6, maybe 7) at a time then it quits again for another 100-200 rounds....maybe the guns are to clean? maybe its certain magazines? ....anyways I just wanted to thank you for the great advice, and let you know that I appreciate all the time an effort that you spent sharing your wisdom with me
