I am currently using the SoLow Mounts on my 5.5" bull-barreled 22/45, with a BSA PD30 Red Dot Scope. These mounts work like a charm. No complaints in six months of use. These are unique in that the mounts actually just clamp around the receiver. I was skeptical, at first, but now I can't see myself using any other scope mount. Now I am looking for a holster for the scoped 22/45. Finding this harder than getting a good scope mount.
