...doen't sound like a bad price. Although it all depends on how much your dad's friend used it. A new MarkII 6" lists for about $290. I have the Mark II 5.5" with a bull barrel and it is a real nice gun. But, at the price you'er looking at, its going to be tough to beat. As far as the lack of a second clip is concerned, I never use mine. Regardless of the number of clips you have, you are still going to be going the same amount of loading (unless of course you have someone loading for you). However you could use the fact that there is no clip and box as a negotiating point. Also, see if he's willing to take you to the range and try it. Offer $150 and see were it goes. However, if the gun is in good shape, $175s not a bad way to get started.
