Im sitting here tonight thinking so many of us come here cause we love Rebs playing. How cool would it be to win a lesson? Anybody got any ideas how to do it? And of course Reb would have to approve. I just thought it was a cool idea. Take care...Guv
That would be a great contest. I am a former student of Reb's. I am originally from Pittsburgh and took about 4 or 5 lessons from Reb until I moved to Atlanta 4 years ago. He is one of the nicest, down to earth guys you will ever meet. You can't imagine how talented he is until you sit 3 feet away from him and hear him play. I learned a lot....particularly about vibrato. It was great to hear him talk about music and the way he approaches things. I also found out that as an added bonus, he will sometimes give you a beer drinking lesson along with your guitar lesson. I'm sure he will read your post so hopefully he will take you up on your idea. Good luck.
I always wondered what rock stars think when the person who wins these type of contests ends up being a complete dork or just socially challenged. Lol.
