HI Everyone,
Am new to the message board but am a --day 1/forever longtime-- Reb Beach fan. My dealings and memories with Reb go back to just pre-Winger days, when Kip and Paul were in AC's band. Have had the immense pleasure to meet and hang with Reb on 4 or 5 occasions. One funny story involving his Cutting Loose video in one of the meetings i will post on here sometime. He's such a great guy and down to earth. Have met nearly every one of my musical heroes through the years and I mean some of the biggest and to this day.... I still tell everyone Reb was the coolest and far and away nicest one I've ever met. Even name my dog(Reb) after him, which i am proud to say is doing good at 17 years old. Thanks Reb for the good luck. If by chance you do read these messages often. Let me say you are an inspiration to me as a musician on and off the stage. There were a few guys before you who were the reason I started playing but immediately upon seeing and hearing you ...wow, you became an instant influence on me.
I will give more of my thoughts etc, another day. But I am curious how much and what parts you played on the new Whitesnake CD.?? Which songs you play the solos on? I mean your playing will be obvious but just seems Doug gets to do a bit more playing in his role? Wasnt sure how to word this question. Cause even though I respect Doug's playing and he is a monster guitar player. Its just as we all are here...such huge Reb fans. Just curious if its because you still have so many duties with Winger, your solo stuff , and other band projects, ex Night Ranger and so on. Hope all this makes sense. And hope you do read this.
Looking forward to checking in and hanging with all the other Reb fans.
Easy Come, Easy Go,
Ken
