I took vicodin after back surgery and it made the world a much nicer place. I miss it.
I played a bunch of the Jimmy Durante songs over at youtube. I just love his version of Young at Heart. I'm going to see if I can get it on a CD for Sunday. PC is turning 60 (!) on Friday and the kids are coming over Sunday for that and Father's Day. He is totally freaked at being 60. I think I want to play that song as I bring out his cake ;).

Henry has/had a show on IFC. I can never find it though. They play it a couple of times once a week and then it disappears for a few months. It's 1/2 an hour talk show. Not his best work. As much as I like him his commentary comes off as too posed. And Jeannine Garofalo sometimes has a commentary section. She SUCKS!! She tries way too hard to be relevant.
That be Shaun Cassidy...and he's turning FIFTY this year! OMG...and I remember him turning 30 and thinking he was old... ;)
But it makes me feel somewhat better that Prince & Madonna are fifty too... ;)
Speaking of Shaun, he remade David Bowie's "Rebel Rebel" on his last album. So imagine me snickering when I found a YouTube video from a couple of weeks ago of Kip singing it... ;)
did you know that Shaun also created and directed a really gory vampire series in the late 1990s? I can't remember the name of it. It lasted only a few weeks but it got really good reviews.
I don't remember him doing a vampire series, I only remember "American Gothic" (Lucas Black and Gary Cole), "Invasion" and "Roar" (with Heath Ledger, his introduction to American audiences). IMDB has other references too.

I didn't watch it I just remember how all the critics liked it and were surprised that baby faced clean cut Shaun could create a show diametrically opposed to his image.
Xandi, I used to really like Jeannie Garafalo but she wore thin on me when she was always calling herself so "ugly" when she's actually pretty friggin beautiful even all torn up like she makes herself be! I wont even look for Henry's show if he comes off posed. THat will totally break my heart!!!

I was totally in love with Shaun Cassidy when I was like 8 or 9! He was so damn cute with the feathered back hair! Anyhoo, yes cherry, he was the producer and writer of Invasion, which got yanked by ABC after the last episode last year. I was royally pissed off, ABC always yanks anything that i like. I loved American Gothic too- my husband got me hooked on it when we were dating; back then I hardly watched any tv, I was too busy out partying.

Okay, I'm back. I just had to go watch some Shaun Cassidy on youtube! Then I HAD to watch some Leif Garrett videos! But I want the one where he was wearing the shiny silver spandex!
