Springsteen Offers Freebies


If you were born to run, hurry over to amazon.com where tracks from Bruce Springsteen's new album, Working on a Dream, will be available free before its release on Jan. 27.

The song Life Itself is available now.

In addition, the tracks My Lucky Day and Born to Run will be available on Xbox 360, PS3, along with the Wii versions of Guitar Hero: World Tour. After Feb 4 they will cost you $2 each.

Springsteen and the E Street Band will also be performing during the Super Bowl XLIII halftime show in Tampa, Fla, on Feb 1.

Though there is no word yet on a Working on a Dream tour, it's rumored that the band will appear at the Bonnaroo festival and the U.K.'s Glastonbury festival, both in June.

I heard the new song on VH1 this morning about 5 a.m. It's classic Bruce in sound. He's starting to look a little worn around the edges to me. I kind of hope either he doesn't tour or at least doesn't come here. If he does, that means I might have to leave the house. I kinda don't wanna do that anymore.

Always wondered how tha fukk dude got tagged as "The Boss".

My COMCAST tv converter box thing is a small device about the size of a SONY discman with absolootly NO control buttons on it....just an IR sensor and a power on indicator LED......IF i cant find my remote......I cant change channels.

My TV got stuck on a VH-1 channel where i was watching a MUDCRUTCH documentary.

Then a Springsteen concert came on,

I've seen the 4 hour Running Down the Dream documentary made by Peter Bogdonovich about 5 times and the Mudcrutch one twice.
As far as I'm concerned he is more of the voice of American music than Springsteen.

I´m not really a fan of Bruce but I must say that I bought for the wife "We shall overcome" cd and I was really amazed of how cool songs and it likes to me a lot. Also it sems that the Boss is having a good composition moment.. he is publisihing new material so often. I love his folkie songs.

Also he has beside him one of the most underrated and forgotten guitarplayers ever... Mr. Nils Lofgren .. and this guy is amazing composer and player.

I was checking the credits on the booklet but in studio sessions as in tour live as drummer appears the same name: Larry Eagle, but can not find the name you said in any place as a guest or so.
